Gregory sent us this annotated map of an eventful hike to Macchu Picchu. It includes comments related to hiking incidents, Inca ruins, camp sites, peaks and passes. During the three-person guided hike, one person turned back, but the others completed the journey suffering some minor illnesses along the way. The drawing in the upper right is a ruin at Winay Wana where Gregory's drawing session was abruptly interrupted when the caretaker warned of "animalitos venimosa" (snakes). Larger version
