6 Dimension

Simple, minimal maps like these are what got me interested in collecting hand drawn maps in the first place. It's been a while since one has been posted to the site so I'm happy to share this one with you now. Meg from Tokyo sent it along with the following note: "My friend Aiko drew this map for me. It provides simple directions from Ogikubo station to the cafe called 6-jigen (it means 6 dimension)."

Teaching Tool

Chris recently sent us two maps of Kyoto where he teaches English as a second language. He writes, "it was great for the students to be able to talk about their own city in English, and they were all impressed at my cartography. The first is a street map, and the second is a train and subway map."
