Jodie Shike Wright
Jodie uses sketchbooks to both plan and document her travels around the world. Each new trip begins with a sketch of the location she'll be visiting. "A three feet tall stack of black books awash with doodles, sketches, notes, designs, maps and ideas confirms my passion for sketching," she writes. "A love of delineation was the draw to a career in architecture." Jodie currently works as an architect with her husband designing custom homes in Telluride, Colorado. Along with her maps, Jodie sent us a self-described "random smattering of continuous thoughts." The selection of thoughts concludes, "Observing and recreating on paper with a PILOT Razor Point II is therapeutic." Hope you enjoy the drawings here, and please check out more of Jodie's work, thoughts, and adventures at the links below.
